I was thinking about...actually convicted about it that my website had no clear statement in it to the effect that "The Papacy Is THE ANTICHRIST!" I believe it is true. My mission here is to make a brief defense of that proposition.

I previously wrote an article entitled Single Antichrist. You can look at that one if you want to dig deeper into all of the antichrists that the epistle of 1 John chapter 2 alludes to. Let us be settled as to one fact that been established since John Huss first spoke it in 1416 and Martin Luther first wrote it in 1520: One of those 1 John antichrists is THE ANTICHRIST. The meaning of this is that this ANTICHRIST is also the man of lawlessness, the son of perdition of 2 Thessalonians 2. He is that one who "opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." He has been sitting in the temple of God since 606 A.D., proclaiming his infalibility and his godhood on the Earth as every Pope has done since that date.

Defenders of these Popes claim to have preached that the Heavenly Father is God and that Jesus is the Christ. In saying this, they claim to fall under the exemptions provided in 1 John Chapter 2. They claim that with their mouths, they have not denied that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. They ignore this truth that is eternally fatal to them:

Titus 1:16
"They profess that they know God, but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate". This Papacy denies God the Father and God the Son by preaching another gospel of faith and deeds: It is a false, lying salvation for those who keep their list of sacraments alone and it reduces the position of the only redeemer to that of co-redeemer at the side of His mother Mary. Yes, they deny God with their words, their doctrines and their deeds. They deny that Jesus is the Christ by introducing other redeemers and other requirements for salvation, along with other mediators between God and man. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man! The Roman Catholic Christ is not our Christ.

This ONE ANTICHRIST is the same beast portrayed in Revelation 13 and Revelation 17 that will display multiple anniversaries of the duration of its power over periods of 1,260 years. These may be seen to have occurred according to the Julian time measure and by prophetic years that are comprised of 360 days. Some of these periods have come and gone, giving clear proof as to the validity of this method of interpretation and understanding. Some of these periods, along with the pouring of the Vials of Revelation 16, have been pouring upon the beast and will continue to pour into the indefinite future. Clearly, One Thousand, Two Hundred and Sixty years of murder, torture and then of the drinking of the blood of the saints could not have been accomplished by ONE MAN, but it has been the product of an unbroken succession of Popes since 606 A.D.

Knowing that these facts have been established for more than five hundred years and that they have been sealed by the blood of more than FIFTY MILLION saints of God, we boldly state that we not are to look for any other man to be THE ANTICHRIST. Should a temple be built in Jerusalem and should animal sacrifice be reinstated, it will not be a TEMPLE OF GOD, as 2 Thessalonians 2 requires. Should a sexy, charismatic politician or movie actor arise, it will not matter for in order to be THE ANTICHRIST, you must have begun as one of us: you must be an apostate from the true faith! Truly, the Papacy is apostate to the core. It will matter not who might stand in it proclaiming his Godhood or not: he will not be THE ANTICHRIST! None other than a succession of Popes can be THE ANTICHRIST, the son of perdition, the man of sin and the beast that rises up from the sea as we find them in scripture.

All others will be pretenders. All those who oppose this teaching are liars and are sent forth from the father of lies: the devil.

My advice to you is this: Are you coasting in your faith? Are you biding your time, neglecting the reading of your bible; neglecting prayer; busy with worldly activities and lazy in your spiritual duties...waiting until you see the commencement of construction of this mythical temple in Jerusalem? Are you waiting to see your rock star, left behind antichrist before you get going in the building up of your most holy faith? Are you refusing to study the book of Revelation because you think that none of it will effect you because you will fly away in the rapture? ....................................You had better get going quickly. You have based your delays upon falsehoods and your hopes are false hopes. Your false hopes are about to suddenly evaporate. Repent of your lazy wickedness and come to the feet of Jesus.
